Debi's show was great!

The interesting thing about getting older, is that your friend's children grow older too!
Our good friends, John and Jan, had 3 daughters and 1 son, while we had 3 sons... and they were all about the same age. We had many good times together - I remember the fun of sewing cute little dresses for their three girls - much more fun then sewing overalls!
And I had the fun of being the high school cheerleading coach when their girls were cheerleaders and our boys were all basketball players. Ah, such good memories!
.
But good memories are still made today and this past week I had the pleasure of watching Debi Kilde, (one of those three little girls I once sewed for...) in a really entertaining musical in Minneapolis....
The Marvelous Wonderettes is now playing in the Plymouth Playhouse until July.
You don't want to miss it!
Here is the actress and singer.... she has always been outgoing and this sure seems like a perfect role for her...

She is Suzy Simpson, one of the 4 fabulous girls who sing tons of great songs during a very entertaining show. (The girl can sing, I tell you!) One of those girls becomes the Prom Queen, but I'm not going to give it away here... you have to go to find out! (hey, you even get to vote...)

Here are three of the girls following the show.
Oh, these girls were great actresses and terrific vocalists!
I enjoyed every minute of their performance and hope to go again!
Here I am with Debi, her mom Jan, and 3 other gals who also came to enjoy seeing Debi perform - and to wish her Happy Birthday too!

Happy Birthday, Debi!
I loved the show, and I'm so honored to be your friend.
Break a leg!
(hey, that's showbiz talk for good luck.....)
