These are memories now, and ones we already treasure even as we look forward to making more of them in the future.

One of the things Hannah wanted for Christmas was a nightgown for herself and her American girl doll. She was so happy to get it!

We made lefse on Christmas day so that John and Sara could get the hang of it now that they have a new lefse grill. Brooklyn, who has had a fair amount of experience making lefse, really took charge. She was very very good at it too!

And she was also interested in the finished product; here Sara is doing the all-important preparations: spread softened butter on the lefse, liberally apply sugar and fold or roll up and serve! Delicious!

It wasn't easy getting a picture of Luke; he is often in motion!

He was very happy with this transformer for Christmas and this picture is really so "Luke"...

After the children were sleeping, we began playing the Wii - and I had just purchased the "Just Dance" game. Sara and Meghan were having fun trying it out. Andrea and I got in the mix shortly thereafter. It was tons of fun!

We celebrated Sean's December birthday and he got a great helmet and shield to go with his sword.

He went to battle with his Dad.
