Just for fun....

Last week, the night before we left, the D's came for pizza.

I had the camera out to capture a few pictures of Emme talking to her Daddy...

We had hoped, and we were not disappointed, that these "D's" also came for dinner!

We watched them come out from their daytime cover way back behind our home,
they walked through the draw behind our home, up to the backyard and finally around to the front yard where we have been feeding them. We went from window to window to watch them and since it was still light enough, the children could clearly see them.
They were very excited to see them; and against the snow, it was really great.
Here the children and grandpa are in the living room watching the deer.


In total we had 8. The most we have had at one time has been 10.


If you can look close enough, there are also some small animals on the window sill ..
and two sweet little boys...
