Susanne and Meghan planned for quite some time for this adventure, called "Friendship Trek" - lots of tents and "campfires" set up in each room. It was really cute.
Christine, our Christian Education Director, was a big help and it was nice that baby L. decided not to arrive yet....
The many volunteers, both youth and adult, were wonderful. The kids loved the songs and the actions.

Brooklyn and her classmates were listening to their lesson in their tent. Cute.
At closing time they got to sing again. You can just see the energy from this picture, can't you?

Wow- what a crowd! It looks like the first day was a success. It made me think of Steve Green's song (which is based off the bible verse) "Let the little Children Come" . They definitely came to Bethel today!
I am so glad to see pictures of VBS. Susanne was telling me about it and it sounded like so much fun. I am just so proud of these young moms who want this to continue for the sake of their children and of course all the teachers,volunteers and helpers. It is alot of work but oh so worth every minute. Blessings to all of you. How many kids showed up?
