Mini Vaca

Sometimes it's fun to just drop everything and take a mini-vacation close to home.

There are so many lakes around here; people travel from far away just to come to our area - and we are inclined to travel away from this area to vacation.

We decided to try a short break close to home.

So we booked a motel room on a lake an hour away and jumped in the car....

Our room overlooked the lake, the sunset was lovely and this was our morning view.

Very peaceful.

and serene.
And the town had a street fair too, how lucky!
Shopping, dining and relaxing - all in 24 hours.
